Like a lot of the reviews I've read here, I have nothing but praise for the entire Breytman office!! Ruth is a real ray of sunshine. I always feel like I've just run into an old friend when I enter the office. I found Dr. Breytman through my insurance provider listing about 20 years ago! I had broken a tooth on a bagel and need a dentist. I've never looked back. Over the years we've exchanged thoughts and philosophies on everything from aging and vacation spots to cat care......and, she knows her stuff. Always caring and extremely thorough, I have said "It's fine"....and she has countered with "It must be perfect"! My kinda dentist! As I hope you can tell by now, I'm a huge fan.

Dr. Breytman is both gentle and efficient, two qualities which I believe are very important in a dentist. My experiences with her have been terrific and her location is highly accessible from either uptown or downtown. She would be a good choice for dental care.

My experience with Dr Dora Breytman was a fantastic one. I usually fear all dentists, but she made me feel comfortable and the procedures that she performed were fast and painless. All in all I had the best experience a dentist can provide.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Breytman's for 8 years. She's excellent! She's caring, gentle, extremely skilled, keeps up-to-date with the latest treatments and doesn't do unnecessary work. Dr. Breytman goes out of her way to make sure that our teeth are perfect. Her office is clean and comfortable. Dr. Breytman always makes us feel relaxed. We trust her completely.

I never do these things. But, Dr Breytman is the BEST dentist in manhattan! I always hated dentists...I was an anti-denti. Seriously, I have had terrible experiences, but Dr Breytman is very sensitive to your needs as well as being the sweetest and most gentlest lady. I cannot recommend her enough to everyone. If you need a dentist, she is the only one. And her network is unmatched. I had to have a root canal, (my first) a delightful experience. Her assistant Ruth, is the highest quality of people and will take care of you as well. Everyone should have a dentist office this spectacular.

I highly - & warmly - recommend Dr. Breytma. If you're looking for both excellent & thoroughly professional dental care, & a warm, pleasant person to deliver it, you won't find many who could match her.
I've been a patient of "Dr B' for more than 18 years, & wouldn't dream of switching to someone else - even though I've lived & worked in NJ for years now. (Of course, it helps that she has a terrific location right in midtown, close to Grand Central Station & all the bus and subway lines in that area;-)
Dr B does a broad spectrum of work, but happily refers patients to other specialists when that's needed, & I've been very happy as well with the quality of those referrals: she has a good network to call on.
Dr. Breytman's assistant, Ruth is also very well organized, helpful, & pleasant, & you can count on her to remember things like your preferred scheduling needs (first thing in the morning, for example), as well as to follow up on that miserable insurance paperwork we all hate.

FINALLY - A Dentist Who Cares!!!: When I started seeing Dr. Breytman in 2000, my teeth were in terrible condition and I needed a dentist who could be thorough without taking too much time away from my busy schedule. I remember being able to go to Dr. Breytman during my lunch hour and still have enough time to get back to work. Dr. Breytman is fast, but takes the time to answer any questions that you may have. Like a doting mother, Dr. Breytman will always call to remind you about follow-up appointments.
The atmosphere in her office is very warm and her daughter Ruth is always ready to greet everyone with a smile. Because of her wonderful care, I entrusted Dr. Breytman with my son's first dental visit. I thought that I would have to hold my son's hand and keep him calm. However, Dr. Breytman took control. She was very gentle with him and kept checking to make sure he was comfortable throughout the entire exam. Seven years later and my son still doesn't utter one complaint about going to the dentist!!!
A couple of years ago, I remember my son having a dental emergency over a holiday weekend. In a freak accident, he'd badly chipped his two front teeth. I panicked at first, because I was only able to leave Dr. Breytman a message. However, Dr. Breytman contacted me within the hour and arranged an appointment immediately. I was holding back tears as Dr. Breytman showed off her amazing work. My son's teeth looked brand new. To this day, no one can tell that my son's teeth are chipped. Dr. Breytman made sure that he never suffered the embarrassment of going to school with an ugly smile.
I really appreciate Dr. Breytman and recommend her to anyone. I am always bragging to my friends and family about the wonderful work that she does. My son politely smiles whenever I ask him to show people Dr. Breytman's work. So far, two other family members have become patients and are both extremely satisfied.
As you can see, I can't say enough about Dr. Breytman. She is truly an amazing dentist who always cares!!!

Fantastic dentist and no long wait: Doctor Breytman is a great dentist. She is always looking out for the patients best interest. What i appreciate most about Dr. Breytman's practice is that she always schedules my appointments so that I am not waiting to see her when I arrive and she always leaves more than enough time for each visit to do everything she needs to do without rushing you out the door to see the next patient. There is nothing worse than having an appointment to see a doctor at 10 and waiting in their office till 11.

First impressions: What a pleasure it was meeting Dr. Breytman. Her office is very professional and made me feel comfortable at the same time. Dr. Breytman is a sincere dentist who cared about my needs and aspired treatment that was best for me. I have no reservation in putting my oral health in her hands. I would absolutely recommend her to any of my friends.

My Caing Gentle Dentist!: I have known Dr Breytman for over 17 years and not only is she a great dentist but she's a wonderful person and always pleasant to be around!
